The protection plan is an optional, month-to-month amendment to your rental agreement. You can cancel your participation at any time.
Protection plans are not insurance and do not cover flood, surface water, or mysterious disappearance. Refer to your Protection Plan Addendum for the full list of terms, limits, and exclusions.

- Keep your lock and any damaged property
- Call the police and obtain a police report
- Gather your rental agreement addendum and proof of value, like receipts and photos

Help prevent a loss before it happens
- Keep an inventory of your items and take photos
- Store electronics in the rear of the unit
- Always lock your unit with a cylinder or disc padlock
- Place boxes on pallets, skids, or 2x4s
- Cover property with drop cloths or plastic covers
- Avoid storing items that are not protected by your plan
